KS 1

Kindergarten to Grade 3

Espouses a learner-centered curriculum that aims to develop holistic learners equipped with foundational skills imbued with physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and values development. This is attained through play-based learning which is anchored on the developmentally - appropriate practices and theories with consideration of learners’ expanding environment toward life-long learning.

KS 2

Grade 4 to Grade 6

Key Stage 2 focuses on developing literacy, math, science, and other skills in students in grades 4–6. 

Literacy 

  • Students apply basic literacy skills to meaningful texts
  • Students develop communicative competence in English
  • Students develop a rich understanding of literary analysis

Math 

  • Students extend their knowledge of numbers, algebra, measures, geometry, data, and probability
  • Students learn more complex properties, operations, and problems

Science 

  • Students develop scientific inquiry skills, such as designing investigations, gathering evidence, observing patterns, and drawing conclusions
  • Students apply these skills to maintain health, protect the environment, and practice safety

KS 3

 JHS (Grade 7 to Grade 10)

Key Stage 3 focuses on developing learners' scientific, literary, and creative skills. It also aims to develop learners' ability to make informed decisions and communicate their findings. 

Key Stage 3 objectives

  • Science: Apply scientific concepts to design investigations and solve real-world problems 
  • English: Analyze and evaluate literary and informational texts 
  • Music and Arts: Create creative works about regional and national identities 
  • Physical Education and Health: Demonstrate fundamental and complex practices and movements to promote wellness

 SHS (Grade 11 to Grade 12)

  • This stage emphasizes developing higher-order thinking skills, critical analysis, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Curriculum Goals:
    The curriculum aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for higher education, vocational training, or the workforce. 
  • Skills Development:
    Students in Key Stage 4 are expected to demonstrate proficiency in using English in multiple modes of communication, critically analyze texts, and engage in activities that foster cultural understanding.
